Paris Marjolaine Fair is one of the biggest (about 550 exhibitors) & oldest organic/ eco-friendly fair in Europe (36th edition).
I went there last week end and here is a short review of the fair:
- I liked
The diversity and quality of products: You can just find everything there from organic cosmetics & clothes to gorgeous local food
The fact that you can actually trust the exhibitors and that they take time to speak with you
Getting lots of new knitting ideas looking at the exhibitors’ stands
- I did not like
It’s a big fair and it can be very difficult to see anything at the week end. If you have time I would strongly advise you to visit the fair during the week days.
All in all, I think that the Marjolaine fair is a great place for organic shopping: It’s cheaper and you have more choice than in Dublin – I went there with an empty suitcase and came back with… a full suitcase.
Here is just a short list of the products that you could buy at the fair and that I would recommend:
- Peau-Ethique Organic cotton underwears for children & adults
- “L’arbre aux papiers” recycled stationnary items
- Argandia Cosmetics: organic argan oil cosmetics
Have you already been to an organic/eco-friendly fair? What’s your favourite organic fair?
